Oakland BE Ltd is a building contractor, based in Bromsgrove, delivering varied commercial construction and civils projects throughout the UK. We are growing and looking for a Site Manager/Working Foreman to join our small team.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be expected to demonstrate a clear understanding of construction management, management of subcontractors and be able to demonstrate high scores in site health and safety and environmental management.
Ideally you will be able to start immediately.
The Role:
· Supervision of site health and safety
· Supervision and co-ordination of subcontractors on site, checking quality and delivering regular Toolbox Talks
· Review and approve RAMS (in conjunction with the Project Manager)
· Closely working with the Project Manager to adhere to the programme
· Occasionally undertake minor works to the highest quality of workmanship
About You:
· SMSTS and First Aid qualification with a willingness to continue learning
· Full driving licence (company vehicle provided)
· Proven experience of managing small projects
· Strong supervision and communication skills, both written and verbal
· Computer literate, ideally proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Sharepoint and Outlook.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Depending on the site locations, some working/staying away will be necessary. Please apply with a copy of your CV to [email protected].
