Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee health and safety compliance, including risk assessments and safe working practices as well as the ongoing maintenance of sites
- Support the safe and effective display and storage of museum collections
We’re looking for:
- Experience of working in a museum, heritage, cultural or visitor attraction setting

- An understanding of how to create a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment for all visitors
- The ability to work flexibly, independently, and collaboratively within a small, busy team that includes volunteers.
This role is based at the Museum of Island History but will require work across different museum sites as well as the collections store. Hours can be worked flexibly but would usually include Tuesday, Thursday and Friday to support public opening and staffing of sites.
