Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Arcade Attendant to join our entertainment venue at Haven Perran Sands Holiday Park. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and seamless experience for our guests. This role involves managing arcade machines, assisting visitors, and maintaining a clean and organised environment. Previous experience in hospitality, or guest services is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. The position offers an excellent opportunity to develop customer service skills within a lively and dynamic setting.
Duties
- Welcome guests and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
- Operate and oversee arcade machines, ensuring they are functioning correctly
- Assist guests with game instructions and troubleshooting technical issues
- Ensure safety & standards are maintained
- Handle cash transactions and ticket redemptions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of the arcade area, including cleaning machines and organising game zones
- Enforce venue policies to promote a safe environment for all visitors
- Restock shop and machines as needed
- Address guest queries promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, or guest services is desirable but not mandatory
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with diverse visitors
- Basic technical knowledge of arcade machines or willingness to learn troubleshooting procedures
- Organised with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment
- Enthusiastic attitude with a passion for providing excellent guest experiences
Shifts
- We are looking for a part time team member for shifts Thursday to Sunday.
- We operate from 9am until late 7 days a week.
- Closing times vary between 10pm and midnight depending on peak/off peak season.
- Own transport is prefered, as public transport at closing times can be difficult.
