Full job description

Monkey Tree Holiday Park is a multi-award winning family run park known for its commitment to providing exceptional customer service. We are seeking talented, confident and driven Reception & Sales Advisors to assist our Guest Experience Team here at Monkey Tree Holiday Park for the 2026 season! The ideal candidate will be proactive and support operations to enhance the experience of our guests.

You will be providing an efficient and professional reception service, working to increase all bookings/sales and providing general administrative support. Business hours for reception are 8am to 8pm in peak season from Monday to Sunday, which means flexibility is essential.

What you will be doing:

Proactively promote holiday homes, upgrades and additional services to enhance the guest experience.
Greeting guests and checking them into their accommodation.
Providing first-rate, efficient and flexible customer service.
Answering all calls and emails promptly, adequately and in a polite manner.
Dealing with all ad-hoc customer queries/complaints, escalating to management as necessary.
Working towards sales targets set by your Team Leader.
Completing all general administrative duties.
Acting as the initial point of contact.
Dealing with third party booking agents.
Ensuring that all post/deliveries are sent on time.
Providing support to other departments where necessary.
Handling card payment transactions.

What we are looking for:

Infectious personality, warm and welcoming by nature. With a polite and friendly approach, with excellent oral/written communication skills.
Proactive individual who is ahead of the game rather than reacting to needs of the park and its guests.
Must work well under pressure, with the ability to use own initiative and problem solve.
A target driven and sales orientated approach. Practical experience of working in a sales environment (desirable).
Strong IT skills – Microsoft packages and booking system software.
Excellent organisation skills, able to prioritise tasks as necessary.
Strong team player.
Flexible approach to working hours.
Smart appearance and professional manner.
Good sense of humour – essential!
