The Kilbirnie Hotel is one of the longest-standing hotels in Newquay. With 66 bedrooms, a spacious Sunsetview Restaurant, and a Bar area we are a great place to stay for our guests and for our neighbors to enjoy a meal, drinks, and the use of our leisure facilities.

We are currently looking for a Room Attendant to join our team.

Reporting directly to the Housekeeping Manager, Responsibilities include:

Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing in Guest Bedrooms and Public areas
Making and stripping Beds.
Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.
Notify any damages to the Housekeeper.
Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices.

Requirements

Previous experience is not necessary but would be prefered , additional training will be given.
Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
Customer-oriented and friendly out-going personality as you will come into contact with Guests on a daily basis.
Working quickly without compromising quality.
Working knowledge of housekeeping.

Job Type: Part-time
