Job Summary
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Pharmacy Healthcare Administrator to support the smooth running of our pharmacy operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in administrative support, payment verification, drug tariff checking, and healthcare data management.

This role is ideal for someone with previous experience in pharmacy, NHS administration, healthcare finance, or prescription processing.

Responsibilities

Carry out due diligence and payment checking for prescriptions and healthcare claims
Review and understand NHS Drug Tariff pricing and reimbursement processes
Support prescription administration and reconciliation tasks
Maintain accurate healthcare and financial records
Produce reports using Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and data analysis
Liaise with pharmacists, GP surgeries, suppliers, and healthcare professionals
Monitor invoices, pricing discrepancies, and payment queries
Ensure compliance with NHS and pharmacy regulations
Handle confidential patient and financial information professionally

Experience

Previous experience in pharmacy, healthcare administration, or NHS environment
Understanding of Drug Tariff and medication pricing
Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and reporting
Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
Experience with payment checking or financial reconciliation
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
