Full job description

We are a small, well-established insurance brokerage experiencing continued growth and are looking for a highly organised and proactive Office Administrator to join our team.

This is a key role within our business, supporting our brokers and management team and helping to ensure the smooth running of our day-to-day operations. As the business continues to grow, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills and build a long-term career within the insurance industry.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to brokers and management, handling client communications, and maintaining accurate records. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise and multitask in a busy and growing office environment.

Key Responsibilities

Managing incoming calls and emails
Supporting brokers with policy administration and documentation
Preparing and processing client documentation
Maintaining accurate client records and databases
Liaising with insurers and clients
Scheduling appointments and managing diaries
Assisting with invoicing and general office administration
Ensuring compliance with internal processes and regulatory requirements

Requirements

Previous administrative experience (insurance or financial services experience preferred but not essential)
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High level of attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Professional, reliable, and client-focused approach
A willingness to learn and develop within the insurance industry
