Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, ensuring consistency and excellence in every plate served. Your expertise will contribute to creating a memorable dining experience for our guests, supporting the overall success of our restaurant. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talents in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and presentation. Applicants MUST have their own transport due to rural location

Working days are Thursday 2-9pm (Optional) Friday 2-9pm, Saturday 2-9pm and Sunday 12-8.30pm

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items with precision, following established recipes and presentation standards
Ensure smooth operations during service
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen in compliance with food safety regulations
Monitor inventory levels within your section, communicate needs for replenishment, and minimise waste
Develop new dishes and improve existing menu offerings
Ensure all food preparation meets health and safety standards, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within a restaurant setting
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, meal preparation, and food safety protocols
Excellent kitchen experience with the ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service times
Familiarity with serving procedures and maintaining high standards of presentation
Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions accurately
Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Formal culinary training or relevant certifications are preferred but not mandatory
