Full job description

We are an established electrical contractor and we’re expanding further into the Solar PV market and looking for a self motivated and organised individual to deliver our Solar PV installations.

The candidate must be a highly skilled and experienced Solar Installation Manager to oversee Domestic, Commercial & Industrial installation projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, excellent organisational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of project management tools and systems.

This position offers a varied mix of office-based coordination and hands-on site work. As the business grows and additional contracts are secured, the role is expected to develop into a more senior management position with increased responsibility and the candidate will be very keen to help build a growing renewable energy department.

Essential Requirements

Experience within the electrical industry
Good understanding of electrical testing and inspection
Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

Experience assisting with or completing MCS accreditation processes
Level 3 Award in the Installation and Maintenance of Small Scale Solar Photovoltaic Systems
18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
Inspection and Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent)
Experience completing G98/G99 applications
Previous Solar PV installation experience
