Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Counter Staff Member, where your enthusiasm and customer service skills will shine! In this lively role, you’ll be the friendly face greeting customers, taking their orders, and ensuring they have an exceptional experience. Your energy will help create a welcoming atmosphere, while your attention to detail guarantees food safety and quality. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop culinary and hospitality skills in a fast-paced environment. Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections and orders
Prepare and assemble food items according to established standards, ensuring freshness and presentation
Operate cash registers accurately, handle transactions efficiently, and provide correct change
Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, including food prep stations and display cases
Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
Follow all food safety protocols and hygiene standards diligently
Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly and efficiently

Experience

Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred but not required; training provided for motivated learners
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations beneficial
Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is a plus
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene standards
Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
Strong time management abilities to prioritize tasks during peak hours
Culinary or kitchen experience can be an asset for understanding food prep processes
