Full job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and organised person to join our team as a trainee Transport Planner.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is keen to learn, develop their skills and gain experience within a busy transport operation.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities

Plan and manage drivers and vehicles across allocated routes and loads.
Ensure routes are planned efficiently and effectively for our drivers.
Coordinate daily transport operations and respond to any changes or challenges.
Help maximise vehicle utilisation and ensure deliveries are completed efficiently.
Work as part of a team in a fast-paced transport environment.

The Ideal Candidate

Good geographical knowledge of Ireland.
Good IT skills are essential.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and make decisions in a busy environment.
Reliable, hardworking and keen to develop within the company.
Experience within refrigerated transport would be an advantage, but full training will be provided.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday: 12:00pm – 9:00pm
1 Sunday in 4
