As Riverford's Business Support Coordinator, you'll play a key role in helping the business run smoothly by providing high-quality administrative, travel, event and operational support across the organisation.
Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, contractors and general enquiries, you'll help create a professional and welcoming experience while ensuring day-to-day business operations are well organised and efficiently coordinated.
You'll take ownership of travel and accommodation arrangements, visitor logistics, workwear and PPE administration, event logistics, office supplies and a range of business administration activities that support leaders and teams across Riverford. This is a role with plenty of autonomy, where you'll be trusted to manage priorities, make decisions and ensure things get done.
Reporting to the Board Assistant, you'll provide administrative support to them and the wider business, helping to coordinate meetings, prepare documents, maintain records and ensure important activities run smoothly and on time.
This is a varied and fast-paced role that requires someone who is highly organised, proactive and adaptable. Previous experience coordinating events is essential. You'll enjoy building strong working relationships, spotting what needs attention before it becomes a problem and taking ownership of solutions. You'll take pride in delivering a great service to colleagues, visitors and stakeholders across the business, while confidently managing a busy and ever-changing workload.
Salary: Up to £31,647 per annum d.o.e
Location - Wash Barn, Buckfastleigh, Devon, TQ11 0JU
Hours - 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. 08:30-17:00
- Previous experience in an administrative, business support, office coordination or customer-facing role
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and competing priorities simultaneously
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work
- Confident using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Experience coordinating meetings, travel, accommodation and events
- Experience coordinating company events, workshops or offsite meetings
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues, suppliers, visitors and stakeholders at all levels
- Upbeat and very personable
- Helpful and reliable
- Great at building relationships with people from all areas of the business
- An interest and appreciation in the Riverford brand and products
- Able to be flexible if required, to support the business need (events etc.) and go the extra mile
