Job Description
What You’ll Be Doing
-
Collaborating with business users to define new application requirements.
-
Developing, testing and maintaining clean, performant code for client applications.
-
Supporting project delivery alongside Project Managers and Senior Engineers.
-
Working as part of a close-knit team to deliver solutions on time and on budget.
-
Analysing large-scale time-series data and generating actionable reports.
-
Mentoring junior developers and contributing to a culture of continuous learning.
Qualifications
What You Bring
-
2+ years of hands-on kdb+ development experience.
-
Solid understanding of q language and time-series data structures.
-
Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
-
Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
-
Familiarity with software development methodologies and the SDLC.
-
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team.
-
Excellent client-facing communication skills.
-
Experience in Capital Markets or Investment Banking is advantageous
Bonus Skills (Not Required):

Experience with AI tooling (Claude, Co-Pilot)

Knowledge of Python, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), or other time-series databases.

Exposure to project leadership or people management.
Contribution to internal tools, documentation, community initiatives.
