Overview
We are seeking a motivated and versatile Skilled Labourer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting various construction, landscaping, and maintenance projects. Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, mowing, and turf care to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery like excavators to perform excavation, digging, and site preparation activities
- Support irrigation system installation, repair, and ongoing maintenance to ensure efficient water management
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure safety and optimal performance
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all tasks, including proper handling of machinery and hazardous materials
- Collaborate with team members on construction sites to support various phases of project execution
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction, landscaping, or horticulture environments is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices and gardening techniques
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators effectively
- Basic understanding of irrigation systems and their installation or repair processes
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods
- Familiarity with safety standards related to construction sites and outdoor work environments
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving
