About the Role
No two days are the same. One morning you may be welcoming guests checking into their woodland yurt, while the afternoon could involve preparing for a corporate retreat, supporting a yoga class, carrying out site checks or helping develop new guest experiences. Working closely with the business owner and wider team, you'll help ensure every guest enjoys an exceptional experience from enquiry through to departure.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience
- Welcome guests and manage arrivals and departures
- Deliver warm, professional customer service throughout each stay
- Respond promptly to guest enquiries by phone, email and booking sites
- Resolve guest queries confidently and efficiently
- Ensure special requests and guest add-ons are delivered
Reception & Operations
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of reception, ensuring guests are responded to promptly with follow-ups recorded
- Be admin-savvy, keeping on top of paperwork and ensuring processes are followed
- Welcome visitors attending wellness sessions including yoga, sauna and wild swimming experiences
- Support weddings, corporate retreats and seasonal events
- Help improve guest processes and operational systems
Site Presentation
- Carry out daily checks to ensure the site is clean, safe and beautifully presented
- Assist with preparing guest areas and shared spaces
- Complete final quality checks before guest arrivals
- Support housekeeping during busy changeovers when required

Physical Requirements
Due to the nature of our woodland site, applicants should be physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all seasons.The role regularly involves:
- Walking across uneven woodland terrain
- Lifting and carrying supplies
- Preparing guest accommodation
- Supporting housekeeping during changeovers
- Carrying out practical site tasks
- Spending much of the working day outdoors
A positive attitude and willingness to roll up your sleeves are essential.
