Full job description

About the Role:

We are looking for a reliable, organised, and confident Event Evening Supervisor to oversee the smooth running of evening events at our venue. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with experience in hospitality, events, or customer service.

You will be responsible for supervising the venue between the hours of 6pm and 12am weekday and 1am on weekends. You will be given your rota for the next 6 month and will not be required to work Sundays your typical week would be between 6-21 hours. Your role is to ensure excellent guest experience, maintaining health & safety standards, ensuring our licensing is adhered to, and acting as the main point of contact during evening operations for 3rd party suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

Checking in with guest and ensuring they have everything they need
Support event staff with logistics if needed.
Ensure guests receive professional and friendly service
Coordinate with bar to ensure sales of alcohol are in line with licensing
Handle customer queries and resolve issues calmly and professionally
Ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times
Complete end-of-night checks and reporting
Basic office admin, including answering phone and reasoning to emails.

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in events, hospitality, or customer service
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities

Desirable

Personal Licence or hospitality/event qualifications
Experience managing private events, weddings, or corporate functions
First Aid certification

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
