We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Administration Officer to support the smooth day-to-day running of our busy theatre company. Reporting to the Managing Director, you’ll play a key role in keeping our office operations efficient and responsive, providing administrative support across all sectors of the business.
This role is available as a part-time position, with the potential to become full time for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communication: Incoming and outgoing telephone calls providing excellent customer service at l times, responding to enquiries, liaising with Venues, Suppliers and Touring Cast.
- General Administration: Scheduling, correspondence, filing, data entry.
- Accounts Support: Assisting the Accounts Manager, recording receipts, liaising with Councils.
- Database Management: Maintain up to date contact lists, and internal records.
- Meeting/Event Support: Preparing materials and taking minutes.
- HR Administration: Onboarding paperwork, tracking timesheets.
- Productions and tours: Organise travel arrangements, sourcing and booking accommodations
- Social Media Support: Supporting Company platforms as required.
- Hubb Theatre: General administration
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in an administrative or office coordination role.
- Full understanding of our products and a drive to make improvements.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines.
- A collaborative team player with a positive attitude.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with CRM or ticketing systems a plus.
- Knowledge in Xero accounting would be preferable
