The Role
We are seeking a driven, ambitious Team Leader to oversee day-to-day operations and lead our on-site team by example. This role is a mix of hands-on landscaping excellence and supervisory responsibility, offering excellent career progression prospects within a expanding business.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Management: Oversee day-to-day operations on site, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Hands-on Landscaping: Execute all aspects of hard and soft landscaping, including paving, groundworks, decking, fencing, and planting according to design plans.
- Project Estimating: Attend potential contract sites to measure up, assess client requirements, and report back to line management for accurate quotation.
- Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and direct co-workers, ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Client Relations: Maintain excellent customer service and professionalism when liaising directly with clients.
Requirements & Qualifications
Essential:
- Proven experience and high-level competence in all aspects of hard and soft landscaping.
- An exceptional eye for detail and the ability to work to tight schedules.
- A full, clean UK driving license (proof required upon request).
- A full, clean DBS check.
- A portfolio of previous completed works and professional employment references.
Desirable / Highly Value:
- Up-to-date CSCS cards (for plant machinery, chainsaw, etc.).
- Bricklaying certificates.
- Relevant Health & Safety certificates.
