Storesperson / Workshop Technician (Part Time)
Location: Hull Depot (with occasional travel to Barnsley & Bradford) Hours: 20 hours per week (Wednesday–Friday, early starts)
Working Hours
- Wednesday: 5:00am – 9:00am
- Thursday: 5:00am – 1:30pm (30-minute break)
- Friday: 5:00am – 1:30pm (30-minute break)
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and reliable Storesperson / Workshop Technician to join our East Yorkshire Field Operations team on a part-time basis.
This is a varied, hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for maintaining depot operations, managing stock, and supporting workshop activities. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our technicians have the equipment and materials they need to deliver an excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
- Unloading Internal Deliveries using a forklift truck (FLT training provided)
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
- Managing stock levels and processing stock orders
- Supporting workshop activities, including equipment verification and repairs (training provided)
- Moving equipment between regional depots as required
- Ensuring high standards of safety, housekeeping, and compliance are maintained
- Supporting wider operational needs and completing all required documentation
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has strong organisation and time management skills
- Can work independently and use their own initiative
- Takes pride in maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness
- Has good communication skills and a proactive, “can-do” attitude
Essential Requirements
- Full, clean driving licence
- Ability to work early morning shifts
- Willingness to undertake a DBS check
Desirable (but not essential)
- FLT licence or warehouse experience (training provided)
- Previous experience in a stores, logistics, or workshop environment
