Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Trainee Claims Handler to join our dynamic team. This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity to develop a career within the insurance claims sector. The successful candidate will gain valuable experience in handling claims, supporting the claims process, and providing exceptional customer service. Duties

Assist with the processing of insurance claims from initial report through to resolution
Support senior claims handler with administrative tasks and documentation management
Organise and maintain accurate records of claim files and correspondence
Communicate effectively with clients, insurers, and third-party providers via phone and email
Contribute to the investigation of claims by gathering relevant information and documentation
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures throughout the claims process
Participate in training programmes to develop knowledge of claims handling procedures and industry regulations

Skills

Previous clerical experience is desirable but not essential; a keen willingness to learn is important
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy environment
