The Role:
We’re looking for a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our growing team in a hands-on role producing high-quality products.
You’ll work closely with other joiners, our CNC operator, and the office team to help deliver each project on time and to specification. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented joiner who takes pride in their work, who enjoys being part of a quality-driven, collaborative workshop environment and has ambitions to grow into an established role as part of our exciting projected growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Bespoke Manufacturing: Work from technical drawings to produce high quality joinery items, ensuring exceptional craftsmanship for every piece.
Machine Operation: Operate a variety of woodworking machines independently, including the Wall Saw, Edgebander and general hand tools, to produce precise, high-quality results.
Self-efficiency: Take full ownership of projects from start to finish, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
Problem Solving: Solve issues as they arise and work effectively under minimal supervision.
Quality Control: Perform meticulous quality checks and maintain a keen eye for detail to ensure finished products meet our high standards.
Collaboration & Communication: Work both independently and as part of a team, maintaining strong communication with colleagues to ensure the smooth progress of projects in a fast-paced environment.
Workshop Maintenance & Safety: Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organised workshop, including overseeing general upkeep, machinery maintenance, and health & safety procedures.
Workflow Coordination: Work closely with the CNC operator and office team to manage production priorities and project timelines.
Key Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in bench joinery/bespoke joinery, ideally including kitchens, furniture, and timber fittings with a proven track record of high-quality work.
Technical Skills: Competence in reading and interpreting technical drawings and using woodworking machinery and hand tools effectively.
Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to joinery, ensuring the accuracy and finish of each project.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently.
Driving Licence: Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to support effective teamwork and client satisfaction.
