Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Coffee Shop Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations at our vibrant coffee shop. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a background in food and beverage service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a busy environment, ensure excellent customer experiences, and maintain high standards of food safety and quality. The Coffee Shop Manager will be responsible for supervising staff, managing operational procedures, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere for both customers and team members.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily shop operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service during all opening hours
Lead and supervise staff, including baristas, kitchen assistants, and service personnel
Manage food preparation and ensure the consistent quality of beverages and light food offerings
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations
Coordinate staff scheduling, training programmes, and performance evaluations to promote team development
Monitor stock levels, place orders for supplies, and manage inventory control
Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns promptly and professionally
Implement promotional activities to increase sales and enhance the shop’s reputation
Uphold organisational policies related to health & safety, food production, and hospitality standards

Skills

Proven experience in supervising or managing a hospitality or restaurant environment
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop team members
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety protocols
Experience in food production within a café or restaurant setting; barista experience is highly desirable
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Customer-focused attitude with exceptional communication skills
Familiarity with kitchen operations, serving standards, and hospitality best practices
Ability to lead by example while maintaining a positive working environment

Pay: From £27,500.00 per year
