Location: The Showroom, Tritton Road, Lincoln – with regular travel to other YMCA Lincolnshire sites and external venues across the county

Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 (depending on experience)
Hours per week: 37.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 7.5 hours per day, although some evening/weekend work may be required)

We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic and relationship-focused individual to join our Fundraising and Marketing Team as our Events and Corporate Fundraising Co-ordinator.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in raising funds, increasing awareness of YMCA Lincolnshire's work, and building meaningful relationships with supporters across the county. The successful candidate will lead the development and delivery of a diverse programme of fundraising and profile-raising events, while cultivating strong partnerships with businesses, community groups and individual supporters who share our commitment to creating positive change.
Job Purpose
The post holder will work as part of the Fundraising and Marketing Team to lead the delivery of Fundraising events, build relationships with Corporate Supporters and develop community-based fundraising, to support the work of YMCA Lincolnshire.
They will focus on the delivery of high-quality in-person events with the aim of raising funds, engaging new supporters while ensuring an excellent supporter experience throughout.
They will lead on building and nurturing relationships with Corporate Supporters and community fundraisers, to not only raise funds, but build a network of advocates for YMCA Lincolnshire across our county.
Principal Responsibilities
- Lead of the development and delivery of a range of fundraising and profile raising events and activities to support all areas of YMCA Lincolnshire, including Sleep Easy.
- Work with the Marketing and Communications Coordinator to recruit participants and attendees at events. This is to include multi-channel campaigns (social media, postal mailouts, email campaigns and in-person).
- Represent the charity where required at talks and third-party events in the local community.
- Liaise with the Volunteer Coordinator to recruit a team of volunteers to assist with events and talks, across Lincolnshire.
- Work with the Individual Giving and Database Coordinator to convert event attendees to regular supporters.
- Ensure all activity conforms to guidelines and legislation as set out by the Fundraising Regulator and Institute of Fundraising.
- Liaise with suppliers, site contacts and participants of events, to ensure quality delivery.
- Undertake risk assessments and event plans for all areas of activity.
- Coordinate the set up and attendance at events, including those at evening and weekends.
