Club Physio / Sports Therapist

About the Role:We are looking for a qualified or trainee Physio or Sports Therapist to join our backroom team. As an established club in the Leicestershire Women & Girls League, player welfare is our priority, and you will play a crucial role in keeping our squad fit, healthy, and available for selection. Working alongside a UEFA Qualified Manager and coaching staff, this role is ideal for students, newly qualified professionals, or anyone looking to gain more hands-on pitch-side experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend training sessions and matches to provide pitch-side first aid and injury assessment.
- Manage and treat injuries, provide rehabilitation plans, and monitor player recovery.
- Advise players on injury prevention, conditioning, and general health.
- Keep accurate records of injuries, treatments, and return-to-play progress.
- Work closely with the coaching staff to manage player workloads and fitness levels.
- Ensure all first aid kits and medical equipment are stocked and compliant.
Requirements:
- Qualification or currently studying towards a qualification in Physiotherapy, Sports Therapy, or Sports Rehabilitation.
- Knowledge of injury assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation protocols.
- Hold or be willing to obtain a valid First Aid certificate.
- Reliable, professional, and able to work calmly under pressure.
- Passion for football and player wellbeing.
