Full job description

We are currently seeking a part time Accuracy Checking Technician to join our company at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre in Northwood. This is an exciting role for a forward-thinking Accuracy Checking Technician who is keen to expand their skills, leadership and knowledge in the outpatient pharmacy setting.

The ideal candidate will have vast experience as a Pharmacy Technician and will also have completed or be working towards their Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician qualification from a recognised provider. The candidate will also be confident in providing accurate supply of medicines to our patients, as well as build great working relationships with the pharmacy team and leading a high standard of patient care.

As the wholly owned subsidiary of the East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust, we provide the outpatient pharmacy service at the Lister Hospital, the New QEII Hospital and the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre. Our team comprises of Pharmacy Managers, Pharmacists, Accuracy Checking Technicians, Technicians and Dispenser and Healthcare Assistants and as a team we are proud to deliver the following services:

· Clinical screening, including Oral Chemotherapy.

· Private Pharmacy Services including Health Checks, Smoking Cessation, Travel & Flu Vaccinations.

· Retail offering, including Over the Counter advice.

· Prescription Delivery Service.

· Additional appliance services
