About the Role
We are looking for hardworking, reliable and enthusiastic Dispatch Picker/Packers to join our busy dispatch team. You'll play a vital role in ensuring every customer receives their order accurately, safely and on time.
Working in a fast-paced environment, you'll be responsible for picking customer orders, packing products to a high standard and preparing parcels for dispatch. Attention to detail, speed and a positive attitude are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick customer orders from picking lists.
- Carefully pack products to company standards, ensuring they arrive in perfect condition.
- Check products for quality before packing.
- Label parcels correctly and prepare them for courier collection.
- Maintain excellent picking accuracy and productivity.
- Ensure orders are dispatched within required deadlines.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures at all times.
- Rotate stock using FIFO (First In, First Out) principles.
- Assist with stock replenishment and stock counts when required.
- Keep the dispatch area clean, organised and safe.
- Work closely with colleagues across production and customer service to resolve any order issues.
- Support other departments when required during busy periods.
- Work 1 Saturday every 3 months.

Desirable
- Previous warehouse, dispatch or packing experience.
- Experience working within food manufacturing.
- Knowledge of food hygiene procedures.
- Experience using handheld scanners or warehouse management systems.
