Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Crane Driver to join our growing team. In this vital role, you will operate a 350 crane to unload, stockpile, sort, process and load scrap metal

Responsibilities

Operate cranes safely and efficiently to lift, move, sort and load scrap metal materials according to project plans.
Conduct pre-operation inspections of cranes and related machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
Assist with materials handling tasks such as loading and unloading trucks using forklifts or other equipment as needed.
Follow all safety protocols, including proper signaling, loading, and personal protective equipment usage.
Support shipping & receiving processes by ensuring timely delivery and dispatch of materials.

Requirements

Proven experience operating cranes in a construction or industrial environment.
Mechanical knowledge of crane systems, forklifts, excavators, and other heavy machinery.
Strong materials handling skills with experience in warehouse or shipping & receiving operations.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions with physical stamina for demanding tasks.
Knowledge of safety regulations related to crane operation and heavy equipment use.
