About us

TKC Day Nursery- setting based in Chapel en le Frith.

Job Description

Why not earn while you study. TKC are looking for an Apprentice (working toward either their Level 2 or 3 in Early Years).

Start a career working with children

No need to attend college, you tutor will visit you during paid working hours to deliver your qualification
Your own TKC Mentor to help support you, while you learn
An interview with our Apprenticeship Provider is a necessary part of our recruitment process

As an Apprentice with TKC, you will:

Learn all aspects of Early Years Education at Level 2/3
Plan play activities to support children as they develop
Provide for the care and practical needs of the children, including health, hygiene and nutrition
Work with as part of a small friendly and supportive team

Applicant must be:

Hardworking, self-motivated
Well-spoken and -presented
Able to work independently and use their own initiative
Able to communicate well
Flexible with a fun, happy, positive attitude
Previous applicants, need not apply

Educational Requirements

In terms of education, applicants should have qualifications at Level 4 or above in both English and Maths*. For applicants who do not have Level 4 in English and Maths, you must have one*, with the clear ability to earn a Functional Skills Qualification in the other.
