Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is ideal for someone looking to start a career in accountancy and bookkeeping. Whether you're just beginning your journey, changing careers or looking for your first role in the industry, we'd love to hear from you.

You would be joining a friendly, supportive team where you'll have the opportunity to learn, grow and build a long-term career.

Duties

Assist with data entry and maintenance of financial records using software such as Excel, QuickBooks, Sage, and Xero
Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts
Collaborate with senior staff to improve bookkeeping processes and procedures
Assist with general administrative tasks related to finance as required

Requirements

Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Good numerical skills and proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel
Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate

Pay: From £24,800.00 per year

Work Location: In person
