Full job description

Experienced, time-served joiner required

To work on sites in North Wales, mid-Wales and North West England.

Must be able to provide examples of work and references.

Responsible for creating and installing structures, 1st and 2nd fix joinery, making and fitting interiors in public buildings, such as visitor centres, cafes, community hubs, etc.

Will be working alongside and with other tradespeople.

You will be required to:

Understand technical drawings and how your work will fit within the building.
Measure and mark wood according to technical designs, cutting wood on machines or by hand.
Produce cutting lists, estimating the materials needed for a job and conducting quality checks.
Produce progress reports for senior managers.

Must have

An understanding of site health and safety
Knowledge of building and construction
Good attention to detail
Ability to work well with others
Ability to work on your own
Problem solving skills

Rates to be agreed in Interview

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour

Experience:

Joinery: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: On the road
