About the Role
Due to continued expansion, Pioneer Site Services is seeking experienced and motivated Fire Stoppers to join our growing passive fire protection team.
You’ll be working on projects across London, Hertfordshire, Essex, and surrounding areas, delivering essential fire stopping installations and remedial works within the social housing sector and occupied residential buildings.
The successful candidates will play a key role in ensuring fire safety compliance, carrying out installations to the highest possible standard and in line with third-party accreditation requirements.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Install, maintain, and repair fire stopping systems including batt & mastic, fire curtains, penetration sealing, pipe collars, and wraps.
- Ensure all works are fully compliant with current fire safety regulations and third-party accredited standards (FIRAS, BM TRADA, IFC).
- Record detailed photographic evidence using company software to verify installation quality and compliance.
- Work independently and efficiently across multiple sites, maintaining professional conduct in occupied properties.
- Liaise with the compliance and office teams to ensure clear reporting and job completion documentation.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in fire stopping installation within residential or commercial settings (social housing preferred).
- NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection or equivalent desirable.
- Knowledge of fire stopping materials and systems (e.g., Rockwool, Hilti, Nullifire, Protecta).
- Demonstrated experience working under third-party accreditation such as FIRAS / BM TRADA / IFC.
- Must hold CSCS card and have own tools.
- Strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Full UK driving licence required; willingness to travel across regions.

- Salary: £38,000 – £45,500 per year / £150 - £180 per day (depending on experience and accreditation)
