As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an ambitious and commercially focused Account Manager to strengthen our presence across London and the Southeast.
The Role
The Account Manager will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing existing relationships within the façade and building envelope sector. The role will focus on driving specifications, increasing sales revenue, and supporting customers from project inception through to completion.
The successful candidate will work closely with façade contractors, main contractors, architects, consultants, developers, housing associations, and distribution partners to promote Licata’s façade systems and related product ranges.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Achieve and exceed agreed sales and margin targets.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the façade and building envelope market.
- Generate specifications through architects, consultants, and developers.
- Build a strong project pipeline and convert opportunities into sales.
- Monitor market activity and competitor movements.
Account Management
- Maintain and grow existing customer relationships.
- Conduct regular customer visits and project reviews.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and technical support.
- Negotiate commercial agreements within company guidelines.
Project & Specification Management
- Track projects from specification through to order placement and completion.
- Work with the technical team to provide system recommendations and compliance guidance.
- Ensure project opportunities are accurately recorded and updated within the CRM system.
- Support project handovers and maintain communication throughout delivery stages.
Distribution & Contractor Engagement
- Develop relationships with merchants and distribution partners.
- Support approved installers and façade contractors.
- Deliver product presentations and training sessions.
- Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities.
Reporting
- Produce weekly activity reports and monthly sales forecasts.
- Maintain accurate CRM records.
- Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to senior management.
Candidate Profile
Essential Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience, facade specification sales, or account management.
- Experience selling façade systems, render systems, external wall insulation, brickslips
- Strong network within the construction industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Experience engaging with contractors, architects, consultants, and developers.
Desirable Experience
- Knowledge of façade compliance and building regulations.
- Experience working with social housing and retrofit projects.
- Understanding of PAS 2030/2035 and energy-efficiency programmes.
- Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar.
Qualifications
- Construction-related qualification preferred but not essential.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
