Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sports Therapist / Massage Therapist to join our team of Chartered Physiotherapists for Saturdays. Approx 8am - 5pm on freelance basis. This role involves providing specialised therapeutic massage and sports injury treatments to optimise athletic performance, aid recovery, and promote overall well-being. The successful candidate will have a passion for health and fitness, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of human anatomy. This position offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment dedicated to client care and holistic health, with the opportunity to expand hours, if needed.

Duties

Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ physical conditions and identify areas requiring treatment
Deliver customised sports massage therapy to aid recovery, improve flexibility, and prevent injuries
Develop personalised treatment plans based on individual needs and goals
Maintain accurate records of treatments provided and progress notes
Advise clients on post-treatment exercises, stretching routines, and injury prevention strategies
Ensure all equipment and treatment areas are kept hygienic and well-maintained
Stay informed about the latest developments in sports therapy and massage techniques
Promote a positive client experience through professional demeanour and excellent communication skills

Qualifications

recognised qualification in Sports Therapy or Massage Therapy from an accredited institution
Knowledge of human anatomy is essential for effective treatment planning and delivery
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and educate clients effectively
Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining high standards of practice

This role is ideal for individuals passionate about sports health, dedicated to client care, and eager to contribute to a supportive team environment.

Pay: £17.00-£24.50 per hour
