Shift Supervisor - Retail

Stevenson Forecourt is a family run business, retailing in fuel since 1978, our sites incorporate a large multi awarding winning convenience store offering, food to go and a petrol forecourt.

We pride ourselves in offering the highest levels of standards and customer service and we are proud to serve the local community, striving to be the best forecourt retailer in the country. Through our hard work and dedication we have won numerous National awards in both the Retailing and Fuel sectors.

We require an experienced retail Shift Supervisor to work predominantly evenings to run the shift, close the site and prepare and place ambient orders whilst delivering a high standard of customer service and maintain the standards throughout the site.

This role is to work 30 hours per week plus overtime when required and will include working a weekend shift.

As part of the role the duties include:

Placing daily ambient orders and accounting for all stock in your given department.
Stock replenishment throughout the store, and to ensure the store is kept tidy and presentable at all times
Working as part of the team to deliver the highest standards or customer service
Working along side the site manager to build and develop sales throughout the store, particularly in your department.
Opening the site and preparing the site for a full days trading

To fill this role, ideally we are looking for candidates who:

Have a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in a retail convenience store environment, ideally with a petrol forecourt.
Have attention to detail, a team mentality and a positive attitude
Have excellent communication skills
Is able to delegate and as part of a team

Pay: £12.71-£13.71 per hour
