Our estate features a championship golf course, a comprehensive leisure centre (including swimming pool, steam room, and Jacuzzi facilities), tennis courts, and a bowling green. We pride ourselves on maintaining world-class standards of presentation and service, and we are currently seeking a dedicated Greenkeeper to join our estate management team.
The Opportunity
Working under the direct supervision of the Course Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the daily maintenance, presentation, and preparation of our golf course and surrounding resort grounds. This position demands an individual who takes immense pride in their craftsmanship and is committed to delivering a pristine surface for our members and guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute daily turf management and greenkeeping practices to the highest industry standards.
- Assist in the maintenance of the golf course, sports surfaces, and surrounding landscaped grounds.
- Safely operate and maintain specialist turf care machinery and equipment in accordance with Health & Safety protocols.
- Strictly adhere to company risk assessments and environmental regulations within a busy resort environment.
Candidate Profile
- Qualifications: Applicants must be qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent), or be an ambitious candidate actively working towards this qualification.
- Certifications: Possession of PA1 & PA6 spraying licences is highly preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience within a similar golf or turf-care environment.
- Key Skills: A meticulous eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a self-motivated, enthusiastic approach to teamwork.
- Adaptability: The ability to work efficiently and maintain exceptionally high standards within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
