Job Title: Children's Activity Leader (Arts and Crafts) – Holiday Camp

Hours: 9:00AM - 3:00PM (Holiday Period)
Contract: School Holiday Period Only
Salary: £90 - £105 Per Day

Job Overview:

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Arts and Crafts Activity Leader to join our Holiday Camp team. You will be responsible for planning and leading engaging arts and crafts sessions that inspire and entertain children aged 4-12. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with children, has a passion for creativity, and enjoys creating a fun and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate arts and crafts activities that encourage creativity and engagement.
Set up and organise craft materials, ensuring a safe and welcoming creative space.
Provide step-by-step guidance to children of different abilities, helping them develop new skills.
Supervise and support children throughout activities, ensuring safety and positive participation.
Encourage children to explore different materials and artistic techniques.
Manage behavior effectively and ensure all children are included and engaged.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring materials are used safely and tidied away after sessions.
Work alongside other camp staff to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive camp experience.
Communicate with parents and guardians when needed, providing feedback on children’s engagement.

What We Expect:

A creative and energetic individual with a passion for arts and crafts.
Experience in working with children in a creative or educational setting (schools, clubs, camps, or similar).
Ability to engage and inspire children through fun and structured activities.
Strong organisational and leadership skills to manage multiple children in an activity session.
A positive and inclusive approach to working with children of all abilities.
Must hold (or be willing to obtain) a valid DBS check and safeguarding training.
