Overview
We are seeking skilled Warehouse FLT Drivers to join our dynamic logistics team.
Positions available on AM and PM shift.
Candidates must hold a valid Bendi/Flexi license (please attach a copy of this along with your CV for review).
Working as part of a team, picking, and inspecting and/or packing and recording customers’ products to customers’ specification. In addition, drivers will operate powered industrial MHE to load/unload materials, deliveries and move them to/from storage areas, machines, loading docks into vehicles, containers or storage facilities.
Responsibilities
- Picking, inspecting and/or packing and recording to customers’ instruction using either electronic scanners or manual pick sheets
- Maintain acceptable housekeeping standards at all times
- Comply with Company’s Health and Safety Policy
- Knowledge and application of company procedures and product quality standards
- Must attend meetings when required to do so
- Complying with the company operator safety FLT handbook (all aspects)
- Complying with basic operators training
- Complying with company incident/accident reporting procedure
- Complying with the health and safety at work act 1974
- Complying with PUWER regulations 1998
- Perform and record tasks accurately
- Complete tasks to the level as set by Team Leaders, Supervisors or Managers
Requirements
- Valid Bendi/Flexi licence with proven experience operating forklift trucks in a busy warehouse setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and materials handling procedures.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for accurate inventory management.
- Basic maths skills for counting, measuring, and recording stock levels accurately.
- Previous experience in shipping & receiving operations is desirable but not essential.
- A proactive attitude towards safety protocols and adherence to health & safety regulations. This role is integral to maintaining efficient warehouse operations through skilled forklift operation and materials handling expertise.
Pay: From £14.15 per hour
