Full job description

You must be at least level 2 city and guilds qualified in dog grooming To be considered.

Working with dogs every day can be an absolute dream for some animal lovers. But working as a dog groomer isn't for everyone. It's a very demanding and physical role. You need a strong passion for dogs to work through some of those longer, more challenging days.

We are looking for a reliable, customer focused, friendly trainee stylist who has a genuine enthusiasm for dogs and learning, to join our friendly team working in a relaxed environment where the dogs always come first.

This position is self employed and would suit a newly qualified groomer who has achieved the city and guilds level 2 grooming assistant qualification and has some experience. Working days can be discussed.

Essential skills required for the role of a trainee stylist:

A positive and confident approach to handling dogs
Strong customer focus with a desire to get to know our customers and their dogs.
A thirst for continued training and development
To work well as part of a busy team and under own initiative.
Hold city and guilds level 2 qualification looking to learn and expand within the industry

This is a self employed position.
