To support our team, we are looking for a Deputy Warehouse Manager to start as soon as possible.
Your Responsibilities
Support the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and on time
Oversee goods-in, stock control, and inventory accuracy
Maintain high standards of organisation, cleanliness, and safety
Team Leadership
Supervise and support a team of warehouse operatives
Lead by example with a hands-on approach
Assist with training, onboarding, and development of team members
Help manage workloads and ensure efficient use of resources
Process & Systems
Support the implementation and ongoing use of SAP within warehouse operations (2027)
Help improve processes to increase efficiency and reduce errors
Assist with the transition and setup of a second warehouse location
Ensure accurate data capture and stock integrity within systems
Performance Management
Monitor key operational KPIs such as order accuracy, dispatch times, and stock accuracy
Identify areas for improvement and support implementation of solutions
Work with the Warehouse Manager to maintain high service levels for both trade and consumer customers
Health & Safety
Your Profile
Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leader role
Experience managing or supporting a small team
Experience with ERP systems (SAP experience highly desirable)
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
Hands-on approach with a willingness to be involved in day-to-day operations
Experience in a pick/pack environment (trade and/or direct-to-consumer preferred)
