About the role:

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Lettings Officer to help ensure residents are fully prepared to move into their new home. This role is key to delivering a smooth, compliant, and positive lettings experience, from property allocation through to sign-up.

You will work closely with internal teams, Local Authority partners, and viewing agents to minimise void times, coordinate viewings, and support customers through every stage of the process.

The role is based in our Northampton office with hybrid working of three days per week in the office and two days from home if required.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate lettings activity for new build and re-let homes to minimise void periods
Carry out pre-tenancy and affordability assessments
Arrange and complete viewings and tenancy sign-ups
Prepare tenancy agreements and maintain accurate customer data
Work closely with Development, Voids, and viewing agents to ensure timely handovers
Provide clear guidance and support to customers, including digital sign-up processes
Monitor void properties and support efficient turnaround
Contribute to continuous improvement and digital ways of working

About you

Experience in lettings, housing, or a similar customer-facing role
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable managing a varied workload in a fast-paced environment
Confident using IT systems and Microsoft Office
Excellent communication skills and a customer-first approach
A housing-related qualification (e.g. CIH or Propertymark) is beneficial but not essential.
