Some of your key responsibilities:
Manage the daily operations of the Quality Control laboratory, ensuring compliance with company, HSE, and legislative procedures.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing plants and assist with substandard production investigations and right-first-time improvement initiatives.
- Maintain and coordinate laboratory equipment testing, servicing, calibration, validation, and accurate record keeping.
- Review, update, and implement testing methods, SOPs, and new quality control processes in collaboration with R&D and other departments.
Support health, safety, and environmental activities, including risk assessments, audits, COSHH compliance, and continuous improvement projects.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments and levels of the business.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with confidence interpreting data and making informed decisions.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and manage a demanding workload effectively.
- Experience working within a quality control, laboratory, or manufacturing environment, ideally with knowledge of HSE/SHE processes and legislation.
