Job Overview

We are seeking a Paraplanner / Financial Administrator to join our financial services team. In this vital role, you will support the main financial advisor by preparing comprehensive reports, conducting analysis, and managing administrative tasks that ensure seamless client service and efficient operations. Your expertise in financial planning, report writing, and organizational skills will contribute to delivering advice and support to our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your career within a client-focused environment.

Duties

Prepare detailed financial reports and documentation to support client meetings and planning processes
Conduct thorough analysis of client data, investment portfolios, and financial plans to identify opportunities and risks
Assist with the development and implementation of tailored financial strategies for clients
Communicate effectively with clients, internal teams, and external partners to ensure clarity and timely delivery of information
Support compliance procedures by ensuring all documentation adheres to regulatory standards
Maintain organized records of client interactions, financial plans, and correspondence for easy retrieval and audit readiness

Qualifications

Proven experience in financial services or a related administrative role with a focus on finance or planning
Strong report writing skills with the ability to produce clear, accurate documentation
Excellent analysis skills to interpret financial data effectively
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook; familiarity with IT systems used in financial environments is advantageous e'g. Iress, SelectaPension
Exceptional communication skills for liaising with clients and team members confidently
Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines
Knowledge of financial planning principles and customer service best practices
Prior experience in administrative roles involving report generation, analysis, or client management is highly desirable
Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize workload effectively
