Milton Keynes Preparatory School is an IAPS co-educational day school with an outstanding reputation and superb facilities for children from 2 months to 11 years of age.

Finance Assistant (Entry Level)

Full Time

At Milton Keynes Preparatory School we believe that providing a first-class education starts with excellent behind the scenes support. Therefore, we are wishing to appoint an enthusiastic and organised Finance Assistant to join our school and to support our Finance Team.

This post would suit someone who has recently completed a college course, university degree or apprenticeship, as well as anyone looking to begin a career in finance.

Duties will include assisting with bank/supplier reconciliations, supporting credit control and accounts payable activities, recording credit card purchases and BACS payments, filing financial documents and assisting with month-end finance tasks. You will also provide general administrative support to the finance team.

The successful candidate will have a genuine interest in finance and accounting. You will possess good numeracy skills. You will be organised and will work with attention to detail. You will be willing to learn and develop new skills and ideally you will be confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
