After a 10 year stint, our Sous is leaving to start a family. They are big shoes to fill, but we are excited to invite someone to take Tap & Kitchen through the next decade.
We are recruiting for a summer start position within our kitchen team. We are a restaurant in Oundle on the outskirts of Peterborough & Northamptonshire serving freshly prepped, locally sourced amazing food cooked with passion and knowledge.
We are fully independent and have an 85 seat restaurant as well as a bar, two dining terraces and a good local and destination clientele.
Attached to the Nene Valley Brewery we have a huge range of craft beers brewed on site and are wanting to expand. The Oundle Wharf now boasts Hambleton Bakery, Amps Wines, Gorilla Cycling, and the Aga Cookshop.
Positions Available:
We consider people of all relevant experience within pub, restaurant and hotel catering sectors, preferably with experience of coking to order with fresh ingredients and working on seasonally changing menus with locally sourced food. The role will be supporting the Head Chef in the management of a busy kitchen and team. This will include team management, menu creation and all the standard H&S requirements of a modern kitchen.
