Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Solicitor/Conveyancing Executive to join our growing professional legal team. This role involves managing a diverse caseload of conveyancing transactions, providing expert legal advice, and ensuring the smooth progression of property transfers. Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion, ensuring compliance with legal standards and client requirements.
- Provide clear and concise legal advice to clients regarding property transactions, contracts, and related matters.
- Prepare and review legal documentation, including contracts, transfer deeds, and other conveyancing paperwork.
- Coordinate with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other stakeholders to facilitate efficient transaction progress.
- Maintain accurate case files and utilise IT systems for case management and document storage.
- Keep abreast of current legislation and industry best practices related to property law.
- Ensure all deadlines are met through effective time management and organisational skills.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications
- Qualified Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer with relevant practising certificate.
- Proven experience in residential or commercial conveyancing is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex legal issues clearly.
- Strong IT literacy, including familiarity with case management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good time management skills to meet strict deadlines without compromising quality.
