Full job description

Key Responsibilities

Property Cleaning

Carry out routine and deep cleaning of residential properties.
Prepare vacant properties to a lettable standard.
Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas and communal spaces.
Vacuum, mop, sweep and disinfect all flooring.
Dust and polish furniture, fixtures and fittings.
Clean internal glass, mirrors and accessible windows.
Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
Replenish consumables where required.

End of Occupancy Cleans

Complete full property resets following occupier departures.
Remove any remaining waste or unwanted items (where instructed).
Ensure properties are clean, fresh and ready for immediate occupation.

Standards & Quality

Maintain CFP NI's cleaning standards at all times.
Conduct final quality checks before properties are handed over.
Report any damage, maintenance issues or health and safety concerns immediately.
Photograph completed work where required.

Equipment & Supplies

Safely use and care for cleaning equipment and materials.
Ensure all equipment is cleaned and stored correctly after use.
Monitor cleaning supplies and notify management when stock requires replenishment.

Health & Safety

Follow all Health & Safety procedures and safe systems of work.
Use cleaning chemicals in accordance with COSHH guidance.
Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Ensure work areas remain safe for occupants, colleagues and visitors.

General Duties

Travel between multiple properties throughout Northern Ireland using your own reliable vehicle.
Work flexibly to meet operational requirements, including occasional short-notice requests.
Support colleagues with property preparation when required.
Maintain confidentiality regarding residents, landlords and company information.
Represent CFP NI professionally at all times.

Essential Requirements

Full UK driving licence.
Access to your own reliable vehicle, insured for business use.
Willingness to travel between properties across Northern Ireland.
Good physical fitness.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
Good communication skills.
Right to work in the UK.

Desirable

Previous domestic or commercial cleaning experience.
Experience preparing properties for new tenants or guests.
Knowledge of COSHH and Health & Safety procedures.
Experience using professional cleaning equipment.
Basic maintenance awareness.
