Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Spray Painter to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying coatings and finishes to various products, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets company standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in fabrication, construction painting, or warehouse experience to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.

Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure proper adhesion of paint or coatings.
Apply paint, varnish, or specialised coatings using spray guns and hand tools with precision and consistency.
Operate power tools and welding equipment as required for surface preparation and finishing processes.
Assist with fabrication and assembly tasks as needed to support production workflows.
Conduct quality checks to ensure finishes meet colour consistency, smoothness, and durability standards.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety protocols at all times.
Use basic maths skills for measurements and mixing paints or coatings accurately.

Skills

Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely.
Experience in fabrication, construction painting, or warehouse environments is highly desirable.
Proficiency in using welding equipment and performing basic assembly tasks.
Strong understanding of surface preparation techniques including sanding and masking.
Ability to perform basic maths calculations for measurements and mixing ratios.
