Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a passion for horticulture, gardening, and landscape maintenance. This role involves a variety of tasks that contribute to the upkeep and beautification of outdoor spaces. The Labourer will work closely with experienced team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks.
Assist in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution for plants.
Participate in planting, pruning, and caring for plants, shrubs, and trees as part of landscape maintenance.
Support the team in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of work areas and equipment.
Carry out general gardening duties including weeding, mulching, and soil preparation.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety protocols.

Skills

Proficiency in using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and pruners.
Experience with power tools including lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers is advantageous.
Knowledge of horticulture practices and growing techniques is preferred.
Familiarity with landscape maintenance procedures to enhance outdoor aesthetics.
Strong physical stamina to perform manual labour tasks effectively throughout the day.
Ability to work well within a team environment while also being self-motivated. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills in horticulture and landscaping while contributing positively to our projects.
