About Us
We are a growing Devon-based company specialising in the supply, installation, servicing, and repair of commercial power wash systems fitted to vehicles nationwide. Our customers rely on us to keep their equipment operating efficiently, and we're looking for a dedicated Mobile Service Technician to join our team.
Although our headquarters are based near Newton Abbot, Devon, this role is suitable for candidates located across the Midlands, Bristol, South West, or surrounding regions, as the work is carried out on customer sites throughout the UK.
The Role
As a Mobile Service Technician, you will travel nationwide to install, service, diagnose, and repair commercial power wash units fitted to vans and specialist vehicles.
This is a field-based role involving regular travel and overnight stays in hotels during the working week. You will be provided with a company vehicle, tools, and training to carry out the role successfully.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of commercial power wash systems onto customer vehicles
- Servicing and preventative maintenance of existing equipment
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical, and plumbing faults
- Completing job reports and service documentation
- Providing excellent customer service while on-site
- Managing stock and maintaining company equipment
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
What We're Looking ForEssential
- Practical mechanical aptitude and fault-finding ability
- Experience working with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or vehicle-based systems
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the UK and stay away from home during the week when required
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Desirable
- Experience with pressure washers, pumps, water systems, or vehicle conversions
- Auto-electrical experience
- Plumbing or engineering background
- Previous field service or mobile technician experience
