Fed up of asking permission to do your job properly?
If you've ever been in a marketing role where every decision needs signing off three times before you're allowed to actually do it, this role might be for you.
We're a full-service marketing agency specialising in the independent Kitchen, Bathroom and Bedroom retail sector, and we're looking for an experienced Senior Marketing Executive who we can hand client campaigns to and trust to get on with it. No micromanagement or waiting around for approval on the small stuff, and no admin for admin's sake.
You'll take ownership of campaigns and key tasks across a number of client accounts - running the day-to-day work, joining calls to talk clients through what you've delivered, and making sure what goes out is genuinely good. This isn't a role where someone checks your output line by line before it goes to the client. You'll be trusted to know what good looks like and deliver it, working alongside the account manager who owns the overall client relationship.
We need a great marketer who's been there, done it, and got the t-shirt - someone who can get on the phone with a business owner, talk to them confidently about their marketing, and make good calls under pressure without needing to check in on every little thing.
This Is You If…
- You can talk to clients - real business owners, not just marketing contacts - and explain your work and results clearly and confidently
- Uses common sense and sound judgement to solve problems as they come up
- Can be handed an outcome and a deadline, and take care of the delivery
- Has real, hands-on experience running Facebook/Meta Ads campaigns, plus Google Ads basics, SEO basics, email, design, copy production and web page building
- Knows how to track and report on results properly
- Takes ownership of their campaigns and tasks - proactively sees issues coming and acts before being asked
- Is comfortable presenting results and explaining strategy clearly, whether on a call or face to face
- Works well within a small team, but doesn't need constant direction to stay productive
The Requirements for This Role Are as Follows...
- Solid experience in a marketing account or campaign management role - agency experience strongly preferred
- Hands-on, practical experience running Meta Ads, building web pages, implementing tracking, producing copy, designing creatives - not just oversight, you can actually build and create them
- Confident using Google Analytics, tracking tools, and reporting dashboards
- Proven ability to manage multiple client campaigns at once without things slipping
- Confident, clear communicator - in writing and on the phone/video calls
- Knowledge of the Kitchen, Bathroom and Bedroom sector is an advantage but not essential
- A proactive mindset - someone who spots what needs doing and does it
What Your Typical Day Will Look Like
8:30am - Log on, check overnight enquiries and ad performance across your campaigns.
9:00am - Join a client call alongside the account manager - you talk through the campaign activity you've been running and what the results show.
9:45am - Action what came out of the call: tweak the targeting, swap the creative, adjust the budget. No waiting on sign-off for the small stuff - you know what good looks like.
10:30am - Check in on a client who's gone quiet on enquiries before anyone has to ask you about it - dig into the campaign and flag what you think is going on.
11:00am - Deep work block: building out a new Meta Ads campaign for a client's showroom launch.
1:00pm - Lunch.
1:45pm - Join a call to walk a client through the website changes you've been making.
3:00pm - Reporting on your campaigns - pulling the numbers together so they're ready for the next round of client conversations.
4:00pm - A problem lands: a client's lead form has stopped working. You diagnose it, fix it, or get the right person on it, and flag it to the account manager.
5:00pm - Wrap up, set tomorrow's priorities, log off.
Every day looks a bit different at Flo. The constant is that you're trusted to get on with your campaigns and deliver good work without someone checking it before it goes out.
